Eligibility Requirements for CLAT 2016

Candidates (Indian Nationals only) seeking admission in Undergraduate Courses through CLAT should have obtained minimum 45 per cent marks in class 12 or its equivalent and in case of SC/ST category 40 per cent is minimum. Candidate should be below 20 years in age and 22 years in case of SC/ST category.
Candidates seeking admission in Postgraduate Courses should have minimum 55 per cent of marks in qualifying examination (i.e., LL.B./Five-Year Integrated LL.B./any other equivalent examination), and 50 per cent of marks in case belongs to SC/ST category.
Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam in the same year are required to have passed the qualifying examination at the time of their admission and must be able to submit proofs in support of their claims.

Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a centralised test for admission to prominent National Law Universities in India. It is an all India entrance examination conducted by 14 National Law Universities (NLUs) on rotation, for admissions to under-graduate and post-graduate degree programmes (LL.B & LL.M.).
Application forms for CLAT are available in the month of January and the exam is conducted in the month of April-May of the particular year. Any Information related to CLAT is updated at the official site of CLAT, www.clat.ac.in.
In 2016 Common law Admission Test (CLAT) was conducted by Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar.The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2016 under the Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University (RMLNLU) will be conducted online.
