PGLCET 2016 popularly
known as Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Law Common Entrance Test is a
state level exam. It is a post graduate law exam conducted to offer
admission to aspirants in L.L.M course in different colleges in the
state of Andhra Pradesh. In place of Andhra Pradesh State Council of
Higher Education (APSCHE) the AP PGLCET is conducted by the Sri
Krishnadevaraya University. Applicants interested can fill the
application form from March, 2016. Applicants will be selected on the
basis of the marks scored in the examination and admission will be based
strictly on the rules and regulation laid by the university. The
University College provides 39 post graduate and 3 under Graduate
courses through 29 departments. PGLCET 2016 exam will be conducted in
the month of May, 2016. Applicants can check their eligibility, exam

PGLCET 2016 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants who fail to satisfy the below conditions are not eligible for the examination:
- Applicants should be passed in their Bachelor’s Degree in Law (L.L.B) or its equivalent degree from a recognized university to apply for the examination.
- Applicants who are looking for admission in L.L.M course (Private) of Osmania University, Hyderabad should have 3 years of work experience as a Judicial Officer or must be standing for 3 years as an advocate on the date of appearing for the examination.
- Applicants who are appearing for the Bachelor’s Degree (L.L.B/ BL) can also apply for the examination only if they satisfy the rules given by the University.
PGLCET 2016 Application Form
Following are the steps to apply for the examination if the applicant satisfies the eligibility criteria:
Step 1: Applicants have to visit www.aplawcet.org to apply for PGLCET 2016 examination.
Step 2: Applicant must click on “Apply Online” and register for the examination.
Step 3: Applicants need to pay their registration fees online through Debit/ Credit card and save the transaction ID.
Step 4: Applicants need
to fill in their personal details such as Name, Address, Category,
Qualification and other information as required in the application form.
Step 5: After filling
up the information applicants need to upload their recent passport size
photograph and signature as mentioned in the form and submit it.

PGLCET Application fees
Applicants have to pay the application fees of Rs 500/- (approx) online through Debit/ Credit Card.
Applicants who failed to submit their form have to pay a late fee as per the norms mentioned by the conducting authority.
AP PGLCET 2016 Exam Pattern
- The test will be in offline mode and will consist of 120 multiple choice questions of 1 mark each.
- The paper will be set in English only.
- Timing for the examination will be of 90 minutes.
