Symbiosis Entrance Test 2016 for Admission to BA BBA LLB 2016

Applications are invited for Symbiosis Law School Pune - Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) 2016. Symbiosis Law School, Pune announces admission to BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons) for 2016 session through Symbiosis Entrance Test. SET 2016 is a common written test for admission to 5-years integrated BA-LLB and BBA-LLB Programs Institute of Symbiosis International University (SIU)

It is mandatory to appear for the Symbiosis Entrance Test - SET 2016 for admission to SLS, Pune

Intake

The total intake is 300 seats [Inclusive of 180 seats of BA LLB (Hons) and 120 seats of BBA LLB (Hons)]

Separate Merit Lists for BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons) Programs will be prepared and published. At the time of SET registration, it shall be mandatory for the candidates to clearly indicates the program to which they wish to apply

Eligibility for Symbiosis Entrance Test 2016

Qualification: The candidate should have passed XII (10+2) examination from any recognized Board with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates)

Students who have appeared for their Standard XII final examination and awaiting for the result are also eligible to apply, subject to submission of passing certificate at the time of the final admission

Reservation of Seats: Within the sanctioned Intake: (i) Scheduled Caste: 15%; (ii) Scheduled Tribe: 7.5%; (iii) Differently-Abled: 03%; (iv) Wards of Serving/Retired Defence Personnel: 05%

Over and above the Sanctioned intake: (i) Kashmiri Migrants - 2 Seats; (ii) International Students, including PIO and NRI - 15%

Fee Details: Fee structure for the academic year 2016-17 - (Rs 2,35000/- (Includes Institute Deposit Rs.: 10,000/-)

Admission Procedure:

The candidate seeking admission to Symbiosis Law School, Pune should adopt the following procedure:

(a) Applicant must register online for Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) [For details, please visit www.set-test.org]

(b) She/he must pay Rs.1500/- as SET Registration Fee. She/he must complete the SLS Pune online registration i.e. "Institution Registration Process" through an online registration form available at www.symlaw.ac.in

(c) This should be followed by payment of Rs.1000/- as SLS, Pune PI-WAT Fee

Please note that missing on any of the above-mentioned points will disqualify the candidate from being shortlisted for the next phase of Personal Interview and Writing Ability Test (PI-WAT)

Mode of Payment

Online Payment: Payment can be made using Credit Card or via Net Banking. It can be done simultaneously for SET Registration and SLS, Pune or;

Demand Draft: Demand Draft in favour of "Director, Symbiosis Law School, Pune" payable at Pune, to be sent to Symbiosis Law School, Pune

In case, the payment is made by Demand Draft, then please mention your Name, SET ID and Contact number on the backside of the Demand Draft
